This Privacy Policy explains how RSVPForCredentials.com and Jill Munroe (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, and share information when you visit the site, join the email list, create an account, comment, place an order, or otherwise interact with us.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. We may collect your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, account credentials, order details, customer notes, messages, comments, and newsletter preferences.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. Depending on the method you choose, these may include WooPayments and its processing partners, PayPal, Square, Klarna, Afterpay/Clearpay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other providers shown at checkout. We receive transaction status and limited payment details needed to complete and support the order, but we do not receive or store your full payment card number.
- Website and shopping activity. We may collect pages and products viewed, cart and checkout activity, referral source, approximate location, device and browser information, IP address, and interactions with the site. Google Analytics and similar tools may associate this information with cookies or similar identifiers.
- Technical, fraud, and security information. WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting, anti-spam, payment, email, shipping, and security providers may process device information, request logs, IP addresses, and account or transaction signals to operate and protect the site.
How we use information
We use information to operate and secure the site; provide accounts, carts, and checkout; process payments; fulfill, ship, and support orders; send order and service emails; respond to messages; send newsletters you requested; moderate comments; analyze site and store performance; prevent spam, fraud, and abuse; keep business and tax records; enforce our terms; and comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
WordPress and WooCommerce use cookies and similar technologies for functions such as sessions, carts, checkout, account sign-in, security, and preferences. Google Analytics helps us understand site use. Other providers may set cookies when their features are used. You can limit cookies through your browser settings and use Google’s opt-out or account privacy controls, but blocking necessary cookies may prevent carts, checkout, or accounts from working correctly.
Email and newsletters
Newsletter signups are processed through Mailchimp. We may send transactional emails through WordPress, WooCommerce, WP Mail SMTP, and our email hosting provider. Mailchimp may use cookies and similar technologies and processes subscriber information under its own privacy terms. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the link in an email. Order and account messages are not marketing and may still be sent when necessary to provide service.
Orders, payments, and shipping
We share order information with providers involved in payment processing, fraud prevention, shipping, fulfillment, and customer support. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices. We retain order and transaction records as reasonably necessary to fulfill purchases, provide support, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet accounting, tax, and legal obligations.
Comments and anti-spam
If you leave a comment or submit a form, WordPress, Jetpack, Akismet, or similar services may process the information entered, your IP address, browser information, and related technical data to display the content and detect spam or abuse.
How information is shared
We may share information with providers that help us host, secure, analyze, maintain, and operate the site and store; process payments; communicate with you; prevent spam and fraud; and fulfill or ship orders. These may include WordPress, WP Engine, WooCommerce and Automattic services, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Titan/GoDaddy email, payment providers, and shipping or fulfillment partners. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer. We do not sell personal information for money.
External links and embedded content
The site may link to or display content from social platforms, merchants, media services, and other third parties. Those providers may collect information when you view or interact with their content and control their own privacy practices.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above. Different records may be kept for different periods based on account status, order support, fraud prevention, tax and accounting rules, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails and may update certain account information through your account, when available. You may also ask to access, correct, or delete information you provided. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, including rights to know, delete, correct, receive a portable copy, or opt out of certain processing. We will honor applicable requests subject to identity verification, transaction records we must retain, and other legal exceptions.
Children
The site and store are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Purchases must be made by an adult or with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site, store, vendors, or our practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
